Peter O’Dea obtained an honours degree in Law and European Studies from the University of Limerick in 2002 and followed this with entry to the Law School in the Law Society of Ireland at Blackhall Place, Dublin. He qualified as a solicitor in 2006 having trained with Melvyn Hanley Solicitors in Limerick. Having completed his training Peter continued to practice with Melvyn Hanley until he took the opportunity to travel the globe before establishing his own practice with Enda O’Connor in Newcastle West, County Limerick. Peter has a broad area of experience and expertise including residential and commercial conveyancing, probate and wills, civil and criminal litigation, personal injury actions, licensing law, family law and employment law and Road Traffic Law. Peter is a keen sportsman. He plays soccer with Rathkeale AFC and GAA with Cappagh GAA while also training their under 16 football team. He played Gaelic Football for Limerick at Minor, Under 21, Junior and Senior level. He competed in a minor, under 21 and two Senior Munster Finals along with a National League final. Enda O’Connor hails from West Limerick and graduated with an honours law degree from the National University of Ireland, Galway. Having graduated in 2005 he secured an internship with McMahon O’Brien Solicitors in Limerick before continuing his studies with the Law Society of Ireland. In 2007 Enda joined Tipperary firm Lynch and Partners Solicitors working in the Litigation, Probate and Property Departments. Enda specialises in the area of Civil and Criminal Litigation and has extensive experience in dealing with Personal Injury actions before the Circuit Court and High Court. He has also handled Employment cases before the Rights Commissioner and the Employment Appeals Tribunal. Enda plays club hurling with his native Killeedy as well as rugby during the winter months. Enda also likes to take to the waves along the West Coast and enjoys the surf breaks of Clare and Kerry. One of Enda’s favourite hobbies is travelling and he recently completed a 6 month round the world trip.
